2011 Oreo Foal Crop

Patina de Bravio Oro - Here's one for the history books...this mare is the first U.S. bred & born PRE Buckskin Pearl!      Out of a tall bay Bravio daughter, Perla de Bravio.  See more photos of this amazing Oreo daughter in our Photo Gallery.

Helio de Oro -  A tall, elegant PRE colt out of a gray Bravio daughter, Constentida.  This colt did NOT get his dam's gray gene.   He was born light and shed out a beautiful deep golden Buckskin.  He sold and currently resides in VA.  See Helio videos at:

Titan de Oro - Another stunning PRE Buckskin, out of the big bay mare, Luna de Oro.   This colt was born a dark buckskin color and shed out lighter.  He ended up looking very much like his 1/2 brother, Helio.   He sold as a weanling.  See Titan videos at:
Ebonista - Is a smokey black/gray PRE filly out of a classic gray Andalusian mare, Ametza.  Ebonista inherited a single copy of the chestnut gene and the gray gene from her dam and a single copy of the cream gene from Oreo.  Ebonista will be able to produce Palomino PRE foals when crossed to a stallion carrying chestnut.  "Ebby" produced a Smokey Black (carries chestnut) colt by AG Palomo in 2015.  (Sold at birth.)  She produced a VERY RARE chestnut pearl colt by Rey PM in 2016 and she is currently in foal to the imported Perlino PRE stallion Carmelo PM II of Paco Marti bloodlines for a very special 2017 foal!!  This foal could be a Perlino (with 50% chance of carrying chestnut)....very exciting possibilites.   She has also been recently started under saddle and is doing GREAT both in the arena and out on the trails.

2012 Oreo Foal Crop

Tamrindo - Is the first foal produced by the Gray Pearl Bravio Granddaughter, Arista.  STUNNING mover!  Sold at 3 days of age.  (Full brother to our 2014 Smokey Black Pearl Colt, Oso de Oro)

Cibola (renamed Marina CCS by her new family) - Another cream carrier and full sister to Ebonista.  (Oreo x Ametza).  She carries one copy of the cream gene from Oreo and one copy of the gray gene from her dam.   SOLD and now residing in Neveda.   See cute video of Cibola at:

2013 Oreo Foal Crop

ROCOSO DORADO:  First arrival for 2013....full brother to Patina.  Arrived 3/24/13.   And YES....he is a Buckskin/Pearl just like his big sister.  We are very excited!!   See more photos under Photo Gallery.   See video links:  (AS YEARLING)     (AS WEANLING)   Sold and now standing in Brownsville, TX.   SOLD

On 4/2/13 VERISSIMO made his presence known....and boy did he!!!  "WOW FACTOR" is this guy's middle name.  He is one really BIG colt.   We are still in "awe" of his size, muscle and presence.  Yet, he is a gentle giant.    We affectionately refer to him as GIGANTOR.   (Sold to Canada as a weanling. ) More photos available in our Photo Gallery

Pictured above at 8 hours old!!!!

ARACELI is Arista's second foal born in May of 2013.  This strikingly beautiful filly sold as a weanling and now resides outside the United States.   She is a filly that can REALLY MOVE OUT!  Whata ya think?   SOLD!

ADAGIA:  Number three for the 2013 foaling season is a sweet & adorable BAY PEARL filly.   DNA testing shows that she DID get the PEARL gene.   Adagia has 'sport horse" written all over her.  A natural, panther like walk, with fluid, forward movement.  Sweet, people oriented personality...she is always the first to come running to you in the pasture.  Can't say enough nice things about this gal.   Sired by Oreo and out of our grey pearl, Pele de Perla (Bravio Granddaugher).

ZAMORA:  And then there came a BUCKSKIN PRE filly out of Ella (Estrella Brillante).  Another HUGE foal with enormous presence and the color is just the icing on the cake.   SOLD

2014 Oreo Foal Crop

EL SABALERO:  Sired by Oreo and out of our Bravio daughter, Perla de Bravio.  Full brother to 2013 Buckskin/Pearl colt "Rocky" and 2011 Buckskin/Pearl filly "Patina".    SOLD.  Congratulations to M. Figueroa.

AZULADA  "ZULA" is sired by Oreo and out of the Bravio daughter, Constentida.  Silver Buckskin looks like a Grulla and DNA tests one copy cream, black and grey.  This is one very special gal.  Born with legs almost as long as her dam (who stands 16h tall)!   Now sold and residing in Canada.

Arrived May 17, 2014,  OSO de ORO is now officially DNA confirmed as the first Smokey Black Pearl PRE Andalusian (no grey) bred and born in the United States.   And he is soooo sweet and mellow.  He napped thru his entire foal exam (including his Tetanus shot and his blood test).   A first for both ourselves and our veternarian.  Truly unique and one of a kind!   Good job Arista & Oreo!!!     (First photos at 12 hours old....LONG LEGS!)  He was born platinum in color; he later turned the classic Isabella color!  Currently available for purchase.

Pele de Bravio delivered a bay/grey filly with tremendous sport horse potential in March of 2015.  This is a full sister to the 2013 bay pearl mare, Adagia.  SOLD!

Sommer Ranch delivered three beautiful Oreo foals for Neca Alves and Pam Karle this year.  From Estrella (aka "Ella") came a sweet honey bay fily now called Zathura.  Available for purchase.
Constentida (a Bravio daughter) gave birth to a HUGE buckskin colt.  His bright golden color is sure to attract lots of attention.   Like all the others born at Sommer Ranch, he is an ANCCE PRE.  His name is Galego and he is available for purchase.
Rounding out the season is the showy smokey black (going grey & carries chestnut) filly, Andante.  Her dam is the Santiago daughter, Adrianna a multi-national champion winner.  This filly is sure to follow in her proud heritage both in the show ring and in the breeding shed.
